TL2 versus the Q comparison

Hi all, I have two questions not exactly refering to the original thread subject yet will ask here .

Has anyone compared  the TL2 with the SL in APS-C mode  - I mean with the same lens mounted on each body - ?!

Would the output quality be similar ?

Quoting Jonathan Slack : "I would love an APS-C mini SL" ...

Any progress on the Visoflex EVF / TL2 issue?!

Best, JM.

The TL2 has better IQ than a cropped SL. Over 50% more resolution which is a noticeable gain.

The EVF issue was solved long ago with f.w.1.1.

The TL2 isn't close to a mini SL. A few of us are hoping "Clooney" is.......

Depends whether you're counting pixels or measuring pixel density.

24 MP are 100% more pixels than 12 MP equaling a 100% higher resolution. The density of twice the amount of pixels  on the same surface is twice the density. So the TL2 has 100% more resolution  than  the SL at APSC, never 50%. The SL on the other hand has only 50% of  the resolution of the TL2 at APSC, so if you put  it that way it works.

My apologies for now definitely being a smartass :)
