Likaleica Posted August 10, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 10, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just sent my 75mm Summarit lens to Youxin Ye for repair of a loose element. Literally, within a week he made the repair and shipped the lens back to me. Cost was very reasonable. Given the problem and wait times I have read about other services, I highly recommend Youxin. Cameras take longer than lenses, and I can't say that everyone will experience such rapid service. But I do recommend that you contact him if you need some work done. Michael Hiles Posted August 11, 2017 Share #2 Posted August 11, 2017 He CLAd and repaired my M2 and M3 in December - all within 1 week of receiving them, and at quite reasonable prices. The cameras work like "out of the box". Two thumbs up.
TomB_tx Posted August 11, 2017 Share #3 Posted August 11, 2017 Youxin does very nice work. This week I received back a Nicca/Tower 7L and a Leonon 50 f2 lens that he CLA'd. Both of these are unusual items - the 7L is like a modified iiif with lever wind and back door like an M3. Youxin will work on such things that other techs may decline. This took about 4 months to return, and his "non-rush" times can be that long as he fits them around all the rush jobs people want. Whenever I checked on the status he would offer to do it quickly if I needed it, but I was content to wait. He does not charge extra for rush work.
