dan_drabek Posted June 26, 2007 Share #2 Posted June 26, 2007 This is a magnificent shot. Great composition, great color and clarity. And it has emotional impact. It has just about everything going for it. Bravo! What was your camera on this one? DD

biglouis Posted June 26, 2007 Share #5 Posted June 26, 2007 Rob, Marcus (above) took the word right out of my mouth. I'm not even going to list the superlatives as the photograph speaks for itself. Thanks for sharing. LouisB

JE Posted June 26, 2007 Share #7 Posted June 26, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Rob, beautiful subject...The composition reminds me of this painting by Andrew Wyeth, Christina's World...The painting, like your photo is peaceful with a touch of solitude...an interesting bit of info on the painting that changed the way I saw it--Christina Olson, the woman in the painting, was paralyzed from the waist down. stuny Posted June 26, 2007 Share #10 Posted June 26, 2007 Rob - Gorgeous, and I too thought of an equestiran version of Chritina's World. Wonderful depth, detail, composition, light and color. If you ever make it over to the US, and go anywhere near Philadelphia, it would pay to go our to Chad's Ford to the Brandywine Museum, filled with three gernerations of Wyeth paintings. Andrew and his son Jamie are astonishing, and you'll see paintings here never seen elsewhere.
