vikasmg Posted August 7, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 7, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I find that with the Leica TL2 I can only copy over 1 image at a time to the iPad using the Leica T app. I don’t remember that being an issue with the Leica T. Am I missing something? Also the images in ‘Play’ mode appear in very Low resolution! - Vikas
Advertisement Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Hi vikasmg, Take a look here Leica TL2 and Leica T app. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
STEVEcKONG Posted August 9, 2017 Share #2 Posted August 9, 2017 For Leica T typ 701 you can transfer multiple photos at the same time, but it will compress the image from the whole size to about 200-300k.... after I found that out I never transfer them all together. I'll try tomorrow to see if the problem has been solved or not... 从我的 iPhone 发送,使用 Tapatalk
vikasmg Posted August 9, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted August 9, 2017 Thanks. I found since that it does transfer multiple images (slowly). Not sure at what size though! - Vikas
Louis Posted August 9, 2017 Share #4 Posted August 9, 2017 Has anyone tried to transfer images to IPad with the SD card adapter?
gbealnz Posted August 9, 2017 Share #5 Posted August 9, 2017 Has anyone tried to transfer images to IPad with the SD card adapter? It's what I do when on holiday Louis. Usually the SD card into the adapter, into my Samsung tablet. Not so much for editing, but more for uploading to a blog (while travelling) and "backup". Not so much for editing, but more for uploading to a blog (while travelling) and "backup". Gary I do not want to edit on the tablet, either. What I am interested is to transfer my shots (mainly raw files) to my IPad during a trip, instead of bringing a laptop; then when back home, transfer them to my PC for editing, etc... I tried with 2 shots; it does work, but I didn't have time yet to test with a SD full of shots.... It should work (I hope), but it also depends on the speed; and more importantly, if the files are not shrunk!

Might be easier to carry more SD cards, wouldn't it? - Vikas
Ingo Posted August 10, 2017 Share #8 Posted August 10, 2017 On my iPad Pro the connection breaks everytime when I select the play mode and the image is loading in high resolution. Has anybody the same problem?
blimey Posted August 18, 2017 Share #9 Posted August 18, 2017 I'm having the same problem... when transferring images from the TL2, 50% - 99%, I get connection fails. I couldn't figure it out so I just connect the cable to a laptop. Kinda sucks because, I want to connect and transfer to my iPhone for quick posting during holidays. hoolyproductions Posted August 21, 2017 Share #10 Posted August 21, 2017 So a little different problem here: I can connect to the app and use it as a remote control, but I cannot view the images on my SD card. When I hit the 'playback' button in the app, I get to a screen where I can choose between SD card or internal memory, but no pictures appear there. I assume you guys do not have this problem? hoolyproductions Posted August 21, 2017 Share #12 Posted August 21, 2017 DNGs are not shown, only JPG. Ah ha! Thanks a lot for clarifying. DNGs work fine with the Leica M10 app, hopefully this will be addressed in the future

I have the same problem, and I am VERY-VERY-VERY DISAPPOINTED because when I travel I would like to send and post images fast. I need this function I don't want to buy a camera without this function and finally I have a camera which can not do this. The other thing is the lack of the support of the DNG files in the mobile app. WHY???
