Hi all thanks for taking the time to view this, I am a complete amateur and recently inherited a relatives Leica M4. My question is what kind of adaptor would I need to fit a 'Canon Leica Screw Mount 35mm F/2 LTM Lens' onto the Leica M4? Is there anything out there in the camera world that would possibly put this lens together with that camera? I am hoping there's some kind of fit that will work but on the off chance that there isn't could you please provide some recommendations for a lens that would not be too costly? I'm only planning on using the camera to take pictures for fun, nothing too serious. Thanks in advance

Welcome ricky...hope you enjoy the Forum..

A truly excellent lens...just need an adapter to make it work with M bayonet fitting, off Ebay.

Works superbly at all f-stops and is tiny.

I have many Canon ltm's and never find focus problems.

It's called a "LTM to M adapter". Use one designed for the focal length of 35mm, often labelled as "35 to 135". Using an LTM to M adapter for another focal length would bring up the wrong frame lines on your M4.

LTM to M 35mm no name MiC are available on ebay cheap, but better to avoid them and get Leica, Leitz made one. They are around 70 USD on ebay.

Fotodiox are OK as well and less expensive.
