Eric1 Posted July 16, 2017 Share #1 Posted July 16, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I want to get a wrist strap for my M10 and was looking at the Arte di Mano classic hand strap and the Komboloi wrist strap from tieherup. If anybody has used either of these or has another suggestion for a well made wrist strap feel free to leave a comment. Thanks.
Advertisement Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 Hi Eric1, Take a look here Which wrist strap for the M10?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
IronLion Posted July 16, 2017 Share #2 Posted July 16, 2017 I recently bought one of these and could not be happier with it, especially given the very reasonable price. Sturdy, but folds easily into a camera bag (the strap is very bendable which I like), and looks good. The wrist cinch mechanism is also super easy to use, and works very well. http://www.jbcameradesigns.com/camera-straps/
4pipes Posted July 16, 2017 Share #3 Posted July 16, 2017 Bought the Gordy's strap but didn't like it's feel, ordered the A&A silk strap today.

Mine is also by Artisan & Artist. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! Per P. Posted July 17, 2017 Share #5 Posted July 17, 2017 I Have used the Artisan & Artist leather strap happily for about 6 years. Not too big, not too small. Very sturdy but still elegant and of excellent quality. On smaller cameras I did quite like Gordy's but A&A is much better. Seeing the silk strap makes me wonder if it is time for an update.... HugoSC Posted July 17, 2017 Share #6 Posted July 17, 2017 Roverover, Would you mind sharing the model number of that A&A strap? I've searched for it at the usual sites but end up getting something different from them. Thank you, Hugo

arno_nyhm Posted July 17, 2017 Share #8 Posted July 17, 2017 i love the straps that used to come with minolta X-Series cameras. they are strong enough yet feel soft and gentle to wrap them around my neck or wrest or whatever. they wash easy. i get them from the leftover-box of my cameradealer in exchange for coffe, donuts or whatever seems necessary. never paid for one. Eric1 Posted July 18, 2017 Author Share #9 Posted July 18, 2017 Thanks for the suggestions. Im thinking of just going with Leica's own wrist strap. Looks nice and simple in black.

Bill W Posted July 18, 2017 Share #11 Posted July 18, 2017 I am not a user of a wrist strap but I would think the woven silk is the most comfortable. I guess I much prefer the camera on my shoulder that essentially carrying it in my hand all day.
Eric1 Posted July 18, 2017 Author Share #12 Posted July 18, 2017 I changed my mind and ordered the Arte Di Mano black leather wrist strap. I will post a photo of it when it arrives.
Cliff S Posted July 19, 2017 Share #13 Posted July 19, 2017 I find silk straps too slippery and I can't let the camera hang from my wrist ever. Leather is good as long as the inside is not abrasive which to can and you will get welts from it. Gordy's leather tend to be too abrasive for me by very sturdy. magosak Posted July 20, 2017 Share #14 Posted July 20, 2017 I prefer leather straps that are not bulky so that I can have a good grip on the camera. I just ordered a CAM2022 on eb which seems to fit the bill. Sent from my SM-N920C using Tapatalk
Eric1 Posted July 21, 2017 Author Share #15 Posted July 21, 2017 Here is a photo of the arte di mano wrist strap...very nice leather. really pleased with this wrist strap, thick but also short. easy to put on and take off. I may end up changing the ring to one that is more tight so it doesn't slip off one day.

otto.f Posted July 21, 2017 Share #17 Posted July 21, 2017 Bought the Gordy's strap but didn't like it's feel, ordered the A&A silk strap today. +1 I have the Gordy too. It's fine for my M4 but feels too unpretentious for later M's. The silk straps from A&A have my preference nowadays and go perfect with any M. The neck- or shoulderstraps can be used very comfortably as wrist straps too. Colors are great, the silk feels as a haiku
albertknappmd Posted July 21, 2017 Share #18 Posted July 21, 2017 Luigi Crescenzi makes a beautiful and elegant leather wrist strap... http://www.luigicases.com/ I have used his half cases and straps for years. They are beautifully made and indestructible. Albert
