I want to get a wrist strap for my M10 and was looking at the Arte di Mano classic hand strap and the Komboloi wrist strap from tieherup. If anybody has used either of these or has another suggestion for a well made wrist strap feel free to leave a comment. Thanks.

I am also a fan of the woven silk straps. Mine is also by Artisan & Artist.

I Have used the Artisan & Artist leather strap happily for about 6 years. Not too big, not too small. Very sturdy but still elegant and of excellent quality. On smaller cameras I did quite like Gordy's but A&A is much better. Seeing the silk strap makes me wonder if it is time for an update....

Roverover,

Would you mind sharing the model number of that A&A strap?

I've searched for it at the usual sites but end up getting something different from them.

Thank you,

Hugo

The model Silk Strap that i am using is the ACAM-311N

i love the straps that used to come with minolta X-Series cameras. they are strong enough yet feel soft and gentle to wrap them around my neck or wrest or whatever. they wash easy.

i get them from the leftover-box of my cameradealer in exchange for coffe, donuts or whatever seems necessary. never paid for one.

I am not a user of a wrist strap but I would think the woven silk is the most comfortable. I guess I much prefer the camera on my shoulder that essentially carrying it in my hand all day.

I find silk straps too slippery and I can't let the camera hang from my wrist ever. Leather is good as long as the inside is not abrasive which to can and you will get welts from it. Gordy's leather tend to be too abrasive for me by very sturdy.

I prefer leather straps that are not bulky so that I can have a good grip on the camera. I just ordered a CAM2022 on eb which seems to fit the bill.

Here is a photo of the arte di mano wrist strap...very nice leather. really pleased with this wrist strap, thick but also short. easy to put on and take off. I may end up changing the ring to one that is more tight so it doesn't slip off one day.

Bought the Gordy's strap but didn't like it's feel, ordered the A&A silk strap today.

+1

I have the Gordy too. It's fine for my M4 but feels too unpretentious for later M's. The silk straps from A&A have my preference nowadays and go perfect with any M. The neck- or shoulderstraps can be used very comfortably as wrist straps too. Colors are great, the silk feels as a haiku
