Advertisement Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 Hi dancook, Take a look here Failing SL. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted July 17, 2017 Share #22 Â Posted July 17, 2017 Oh and just to say, the built in preview the DNG has - was normal! That might rule out the sensor as a cause.
frame-it Posted July 17, 2017 Share #23 Â Posted July 17, 2017 i think the preview is written into the file after the actual DNG is processed by the sensor. Â anything strange in the EXIF data ? Â Nothing, Â But it takes ages to export to JPG, and the histogram is taking ages to load - if it ever does.. eventually it did
frame-it Posted July 17, 2017 Share #25  Posted July 17, 2017 so perhaps a corrupt DNG file..could be the card, but im guessing its possibly the controller for the sd card I/O   did you try shooting with new freshly formatted card in live view no EVF ? what does it show ?   Nothing,  But it takes ages to export to JPG, and the histogram is taking ages to load - if it ever does.. eventually it did
tritentrue Posted July 17, 2017 Share #26 Â Posted July 17, 2017 I got some similar purple-green images a few weeks ago from my T when I mistakenly deleted the .dng files instead of the .jpg files from my SD card and had to use recovery software to retrieve the deleted .dng files. Â Also a couple of discolored half-frames.

frame-it Posted July 17, 2017 Share #28  Posted July 17, 2017 nice but probably a good idea to use fresh cards and try all the lenses you have  curious..was the camera heating up a bit on one side while shooting ? geetee1972 Posted July 17, 2017 Share #30 Â Posted July 17, 2017 Like others have said this glitch has, rather ironically, radically improved your work! I'd be tempted to keep it as is and by a second SL for everything else. Think of it as like modifying it for IR work for example. geetee1972 Posted July 17, 2017 Share #33  Posted July 17, 2017 Seriously these images are awesome! It's like shooting expired film. A sense of the unknown, the creativity that arises purely by chance. It's fabulous b   Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Irakly Shanidze Posted July 17, 2017 Share #36 Â Posted July 17, 2017 to me freezing AF sounds more like a bad connection between the lens and the body. try wiping contacts on the lens.

Vogelweide Posted July 17, 2017 Share #38  Posted July 17, 2017 Do you have another raw-converter than Lightroom, Dan? It seems to be an Adobe thing. Leica is working on it as they told me.I had a look in C1 10 and everything was fine. My file was shown absolutely correct.
