My "research" has led me to 2 versions of the 28mm Elmarit-M: 11606 and 11677. Are these 2 different lenses or simply different catalogue numbers? I have one, it's small and very good all around lens and it blocks minimal viewfinder, less than the Summicron-M 28mm that I use also. I like almost distorsionless 28mm, this one is also very contrasty lens and no flare even with the sun in picture. Then the new 11677 replaced it some years ago. In place of clip-on hood, the later one uses square screw hood with cut out.
