Jeff S Posted October 25, 2017 Share #45 Â Posted October 25, 2017 Neil, just out of interest, and I mean this sensitively and sincerely, but are you dyslexic? I know a lot of very bright people who are and you must be at least reasonably clever! I came home from work tonight to find a note from my girlfriend which said, "I'm leaving you because you're so stupid and bigoted." Well I'm not stupid, I'm just dyslexic. And I can't help it if I have big toes. Â Jeff
bencoyote Posted October 25, 2017 Share #46  Posted October 25, 2017  Just think about it. The Noctilux is the best performing lens at night (that's why its called the lens of the night), its amazing stopped down and on the SL it is so so easy to nail focus. Comments thoughts  Neil I frequently travel with just my 50mm Summliux and my m240. So it sounds sensible to me.  Some outdoor places with big vistas and some small indoors I find that 50mm is to tight and go with my 28mm Summicron instead. I don’t know Japan. Maybe a 35mm Summliux would split the difference but I don’t have one. There are others that seem to agree. https://youtu.be/VBY7K4TmZ0c

Marac Posted October 25, 2017 Share #48 Â Posted October 25, 2017 I got it down to 2 lenses for the SL for all my personal needs. Â Tri-Elmar 28/35/50 and a Summilux 50 (you know why). I'm even considering selling my Leather half case as wonderful as it is, it is heavy. Â Enjoy Japan, it's my 2nd Home.

I've never met the fellow, except in this forum, but it appears that he has created a character for himself, and you may make of it whatever you will. A Malaysian-Scot has to be rather unique. The Scot half is Glaswegian, I suspect, where they "don't staund to look around when the cues are oopside down." thighslapper Posted October 25, 2017 Share #50  Posted October 25, 2017 .... anyone with big fingers using auto-complete on a mobile phone or similar without checking the results would appear to be a numpty from the resultant text .....  I've accidentally sent some very obtuse and surreal messages in my time with spelling apparently worse than a 4 year old.  .... as they say with presents (usually with clenched teeth and buttocks) ..... geetee1972 Posted October 25, 2017 Share #51  Posted October 25, 2017 I've no idea what that means...........but I guess your taking the p!ss  Neil  Buddy really I’m not but I apologise if that’s how you took it. Dyslexia is very common in people who are incredibly good with numbers. A lot of engineers of dyslexic for example and I think you work on an oil rig and you must be pretty bright because you earn enough money to afford nice kit.   Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Jeff S Posted October 25, 2017 Share #52 Â Posted October 25, 2017 Donald Trump has a lot of money. But he never reads, can't spell, prefers to spend time on public media, superficially goes from one topic to another and always sticks his name on his work. Just saying. Jeff S Posted October 25, 2017 Share #59 Â Posted October 25, 2017 It's not important to me that you see my work. I don't know any photographers who are proud of more than a handful of pics in any given year, and none of them would sign across an image, let alone several screen shots a day. Don't see the point of mostly anonymous folks saying 'nice pic' over and over. Glad there wasn't an internet when I got into art and photography 45 years ago.
