tonyniev Posted July 1, 2017 Share #1 Posted July 1, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Must be a stupid question, but I lost my cable release that I used with the M3, are people still using the cable release? For my Canon, I use either IR or wired cable, for the Sony, Playmemories apps on the iPhone. I have downloaded the Leica M apps, does it have the shutter control too? weinlamm Posted July 1, 2017 Share #2 Posted July 1, 2017 Yes. Try it. And yes. If you are older, you should buy a new cable release. [emoji6] Gesendet von iPad mit Tapatalk

Bill W Posted July 1, 2017 Share #5 Posted July 1, 2017 I still have my Leica branded cable release from 25 years ago. It never frustrates me like the iPhone version.
LocalHero1953 Posted July 1, 2017 Share #6 Posted July 1, 2017 My cable release has never failed to make a connection, except at distances over about a foot.
