I was frustrated with the 7artisans lens.  My photos were blurry and the background, dizzying.

I reread Thorsten's article on the 7artisans lens, retrieved my lens from the cabinet, set the white balance with a greycard and started to play again.

I was pleased with the results and realized that it will take some patience and time to learn how to use this tool.

This photo was straight out of the camera cropped only to remove a distracting bright area at the top.

I'd probably mess up most of my images by being tempted to go wide open all the time.  Plus I have a C Sonnar, so it's unlikely that I need it.  But 2 things keep drawing me to this lens being 1) obviously the remarkable price and 2) feedback that comparisons to the Noctilux are not that far off.  I too am extremely interested in any images posted here.

Leica M10 + 7Artisans 50mm f/1.1

―Peter.

(By the way, I had been using this lens for about a week, without revealing its identity.  The discussion that followed my "reveal" is here:  https://prosophos.com/2019/01/04/the-identity-of-undisclosed-lens-7/ ).
