It recommends I remove the little flaps that stop the ring on my wrist and shoulder straps from contacting the camera... The only way I can remove them is to cut them off... Is this normal/standard practice when using these straps with a case? Are those little flappy things only meant for going naked (no case)? mdemeyer Posted June 11, 2017 Share #4 Posted June 11, 2017 I'm using a Luigi strap with non-removable leather protection 'flaps' with the Leica Protector for the M10 and it's no problem at all. Not sure why they say to remove them. Unless they were very stiff, they don't interfere with the protector at all. See image... Welcome, dear visitor!
