Frame selector?

I always used it before, in fact it was one thing I really disliked about the M240 before I got one.  Then I got used to being without it, and realized I don't need it, because from all my years of using M cameras I have the frames memorized w.r.t. each other.  Now I don't consider the selector a selling point anymore, in fact I consider it a liability, one more thing to possibly go wrong (as happened to me once on an M6TTL).

As always, Leica marketing answers the question:

For the M3 the frame selector was a very important device to make full use of the M.

When the M240 had none, Leica people said: Nobody uses it.

For the M10 the frame selector is a very important device to make full use of the M.
