Wyck Posted May 25, 2017 Share #21 Posted May 25, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Apart from Silverfast's on-line guides, is there a book that's recommended? I find the printed word much easier to follow, especially when looking at a screen trying to figure out a new piece of S/W. And with books, of course, you can write in the margin if that's your way, acts as a great aide-memoire for me. Steve, I understand you would rather have printed material, however, in the past I have been a subscriber to Lynda.com for online training. It's a monthly fee and you can cancel at any time and only pay for one month. I've just taken a quick look and there is a Silverfast scanning course : https://www.lynda.com/Scanning-training-tutorials/1360-0.html May be worth a look. 250swb Posted May 27, 2017 Share #24 Posted May 27, 2017 Steve, I'll be interested to hear how you get on with the Plustek. In doing some research I've just stumbled on this web site, you may already know it. http://www.filmscanner.info/en/FilmscannerTestberichte.html Jut thought it may have some useful info on there. That is perhaps the most unhelpful and flawed site you could link to.
