I just spent 5 minutes playing the usual "spot the station" - third rail, so south-east England, no overhead wires so south of the river etc. - before I noticed that you had told us where it is 😶

Indeed, it was an interesting area to travel. A loooooong time ago I used to commute into Blackfriars or Holborn Viaduct stations. I always wondered, since there was a tunnel providing a direct north-south link under central London, why they didn't use it. Then - too late to be much use to me - along came Thameslink and Holborn Viaduct was consigned to history.
