bherman01545 Posted March 10, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 10, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) All; In almost every case where I've seen the Leica LCD Protection 'Foil' applied to either the Leica SL or Q, it is full of bubbles. Is there a video or best practices set of instructions available? Thanks! -Brad
Advertisement Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Hi bherman01545, Take a look here Leica LCD Protector - Foil Application Instructions. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
LD_50 Posted March 10, 2017 Share #2 Posted March 10, 2017 I don't recall any need for instructions and I've no bubbles. I aligned the foil (on an SL) on one edge and then used a stiff business card to apply and press out any bubbles.
FrankSL&M Posted March 11, 2017 Share #3 Posted March 11, 2017 (edited) Use scotch tape to peel it from the corner and another piece of tape to remove whatever debris or dust that is causing the bubble. Bubbles that cannot be pressed away are usually caused by dust. Edited March 11, 2017 by FrankSL&M
