Ecar Posted March 5, 2017 Share #21 Â Posted March 5, 2017 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) With patience and luck, good deals can be had: I stumbled on a near-mint 1990 German one for 1,500 EUR (including the hood) only 6 months ago. My well-used Canadian one went and left me with some change... Â Â After searching for a long while I have finally found another one which I have recently had 6bit coded and it's one of my favourites along with my 50 Summilux Pre-ASPH. Â Â How did you get it coded? AFAIK, whilst there is a menu-selectable lens profile, there is no 6-bit code for the lens itself. rfunnell Posted March 6, 2017 Share #22  Posted March 6, 2017 For 6Bit coding I shipped mine to Don at DAG Camera Repair see below for details;   Don DAG Camera repair 2128 Vintage Dr Oregon Wi 53575 608-835-3342  Email is  dagcam@chorus.net .  I think it was around $200 US and several months.  He did a great job and I have recently sent him my Pre ASPH Summilux-M 50 for the same. Highly recommended.
Guest )-( Posted March 6, 2017 Share #23 Â Posted March 6, 2017 Presumably it's coded as something else? What's the actual 6 bit code on the flange?
horosu Posted April 14, 2018 Share #24 Â Posted April 14, 2018 Would be interesting to know why this lens isn't supported anymore in M10's manual lens selection menu
lct Posted April 14, 2018 Share #25  Posted April 14, 2018 Would be interesting to know why this lens isn't supported anymore in M10's manual lens selection menu  I have no experience with the M10 but it is just a bug i guess given that the lens is supported in both M240's and CL's menus.
