Early morning sun beams at the lighthouse

(...btw, one of the advantages of the Q vs. my SL - can produce such beams with f16 without need to remove sensor dust, which becomes visible with small f-stops...)

This is literally inside the lake Eder, germany.

During this really hot summer all the water evaporated and the old bridge of the town that was evacuated to achieve the dammed lake comes out.

This all happened in the beginning of the 20th century. The bridge is still in pretty good shape.

In the front you can see the buoy that protects the ship navigation from ramming the underwater bridge during regular shipping traffic.

impromptu group shot, they wanted it to be generic not necessarily related to the gig and location that night...

I wanted to shoot this with the X1D - but not only were background options poor, I was short of space as well - so had to use the Q.

We had to move a bunch of stuff to even get the white wall

flicking between them makes the photoshop seem a bit fake, but after looking at it for a while, it works i think

I probably should have flicked the bricks in the background so shadows to the left :D oops - I'm done already

Hi All,

I am signing off for a week. I leave tomorrow for Denmark (Ringkøbing) for a holiday full of Leica Q Photography, as it is the only camera I take with me.

I'll be back omg the 13th. Expect and prepare for a massive picture attack  ;) later that week.

Good light to and you keep on shooting.

Have a great holiday Martin!

Looking forward for some good shots :)

Here's a second picture from Amsterdam, my first trip with the Q and really only the second candid picture I had tried to take of people without them known. I think it turned out alright, especially since I wasn't even look at the LCD screen let alone the viewfinder when I took it.

On a separate note, does anyone know why the colors are so muted when an image is uploaded vs. what I see on my screen? This looks awful in the browser and completely different than it does in preview.

Re. Muted colours: Try changing the photo in 8-bit mode and the resolution to 72 Pixels/inch
