I hate the colors.

It's not necessarily OOC, but just not helpful. It doesn't honor the photographer's contribution.

 

It's a very effective capture, compositionally. To my taste, the greens might have too much luminescence. On the other hand, I've recently been to those fiords, and I can testify that the grasses really do look that green. And that brings up the eternal aesthetic question about whether we should modify reality to make something appear more believable or pleasing to the eye.

Mural in Zagreb, Croatia. It was made by French artist Julien de Casabianca as a part of his word renowned project Outings.

The idea behind this project is to take paintings of famous artists into the streets so everyone can see art that is usually kept in the museums and galleries.

Usually I prefer B&W, but for this one colors are very harmonious so I prefer color

 

Thanks - I agree about the colors. To me the B&W image projects even more fragility (both the painting and the house) - which is also captured in color, and is perhaps the main quality of that image.
