Didn't realize you could shoot film in the Q. :-) . Great street photo!

Thanks Bags! I know, he looks a bit like a younger Samuel L. Jackson with short hair.

I got a very rare opportunity today to photograph NASA's Super Guppy transport plane as it did a stop at the Colorado Springs Airport / Peterson AFB. It is a very odd duck looking airplane. They were preparing to insert another airplane in it to transport somewhere else. I heard to a museum, but I'm not sure about that. Honestly, the Q is such a magical camera. I was shooting with a Canon 5D3 and 500 mm f/4 lens, but when I had too much lens, I just pulled the Q up and started shooting. It worked perfectly.

If you were a fan of classic British comics you would recognize the head on shot of the Guppy as a homage to the “Mekon” nemesis of Dan Dare. A quick bit of Googling should get you there.

It is cropped at an equivalent of around 80mm

Of course, we're constrained to posting  <500 kb jpeg. I wonder what it might look like as a siimilarly sized dng cropped to the equivalent.

Mammatus Clouds - Cold air dropping to form pockets of clouds. We see these occasionally in the western US. Often along with or while a storm is just passing over. These were yesterday in Colorado. I've seen them in the past with even more pronounced pockets.
