Both your photos are fantastic and so historic (a beautiful woman surrounded by the fragility of the famous cherry blossoms). thanks so much. I continue to stare at the second one, wondering about the coffee cup. Is the nonrecyclable plastic meant to be juxtaposed to the ephemeral nature around her? Or did she just need something to do with her left hand? I'm very interested in your thinking, since you obviously put so much consideration into your lovely compositions.

I bought mine (the silver version) a week ago and I am totally in love with it. It is one of the few cameras that I can use the jpg files with minimum editing as I love the default colour profile. Coming from Nikon camp, I find taking photos with my first Leica a much more fulfilling experience.

I came from and remain in the Nikon camp. It's horses for courses and D850 and Q both get regular use. There is much to love about the Q as you have started to discover. One revelation for me was that instead of trying to hit the f/8 or similar sweet spot the Q sweet spot starts at f/1.7! It also makes photography so directly tactile and involving. Enjoy!
