My simple telephone this morning with bright light coming through our skylight window. I cleaned it up a little in LR and PS.

Your images make me lusting to visit Iceland. What is best time for travelling?

Regards

Steve

Thank you for your kind words Steve. The best time would be in the spring or autumn as both the sun is lower in the skies and fewer tourists here as well (and possibly lower prices). The winter time is of course another world but due to our location on the globe we have almost no daylight in November and December.  :D

I was in NYC this weekend and got caught up with some of the graffiti and stickers you see throughout.

Grass has seeded itself where much loved cat lies buried. Resolution (and colours) with this lens never ceases to surprise.

Who would have thought that the Q is great for birds? Wild Turkeys anyway! This guy and 11 hens roam our neighborhood and usually come by daily to pick a few seeds off the ground. We don't feed them directly, but we do have bird feeders for the smaller birds and there's always some seeds knocked to the ground. I think he's so ugly that he's beautiful. The red color is real and indicative that he's in full mating form. Other times of the year the colors are much more subdued. He's a 4 year old fully mature Tom Turkey. Spring mating season is approaching and he's very protective of the hens. Many of the shots today were through a glass window at my front entrance. The Q focused perfectly. Are there turkeys in Europe or Asia?
