Did you use a filter? You shot directly on BW or post processed a color pic?

 

 

Shot in B&W mode (JPEG plus DNG so I do have a color version if I want, but I actually like the out of camera JPEG tonality in B+W and hardly even bother with the DNG files) and had a cir. polarizer on the camera

First excursion with the Q!  A big reason I got it was for doing streetish (new word!) photography at night, at least hopefully.  And wow, it's better than I hoped.  Here's a pic from tonight at the 3rd Street Promenade, Santa Monica CA.  Not the brightest place at night, though the pic looks like it is.
