How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Thank you! And they are raw with some slight modifications to Lightroom b&w presets. They’ve also been cropped, I’m really liking the ability to do that with this camera and still maintain quality.

Calla Lily. I used three flashes with a plain white background. One flash on the lily front at very reduced light, one shining up trying to backlight the flower; one flash on the background. Processed in LR and PS afterwards to even out the background. Not macro. On tripod. A fun experiment. More challenging than one might think. Lot's of playing with the light to get shadows right and exposure close.

l Love this thread. Sold my Leica Q, but miss it and will probably buy another, maybe the Q-P. Took this shot looking over Old San Juan, Puerto Rico from the El Morrow fortress national historical site.

Outstanding. I love photographing hummingbirds. You can do it with the Q with a ring flash and stop the wing movement. Congrats. Keep it up. I’ll be back at it in May when they return to Colorado.
