I always thought John Deere only made tractors or other farming machinery. I was real surprised when I saw this beautiful

bus standing in the middle  of our city.I only could take one picture from the front. Traffic didn't allowe me to take any more

which is a shame.

Here's a second picture from Amsterdam, my first trip with the Q and really only the second candid picture I had tried to take of people without them known. I think it turned out alright, especially since I wasn't even look at the LCD screen let alone the viewfinder when I took it.

On a separate note, does anyone know why the colors are so muted when an image is uploaded vs. what I see on my screen? This looks awful in the browser and completely different than it does in preview.

pandathumb, it might be that your colour profile set up on your computer is not saved and embedded in your export file. I assume you are working with a colour calibrated monitor.

Well, I've done it. A couple of days ago I started at page one and now I have reached page 320. It has been a rollercoaster of awe and visual pleasure.

The high amount of Quality pictures really amazes me. This....and the very friendly atmosphere between members is a very welcome change.

To often forums suffer from trolling or bad manners. Not here......and for that I say THANKS!

Good light to you all and keep on posting.

what a noble enterprise!

A few months ago, I tried to go through all the threads relating to discussions of "how to" on the Q, picking out the best solutions or recommendations. I was going to call my result, inevitably, "Q Tips". But I lost steam and gave up early on. It would be good, at the very least, to combine all the threads that discuss the mechanics of the Q and the various equipment possibilities and put them together, because we always have new users reinventing the wheel.
