A plant with a million dollar view - albeit it a bit precarious and likely short lived.

There is a lot right about that photo. First the relaxed smile. Very captivating. Seems very real and expressive of her personality. The light from the window is perfect. Leading line of the window sill right to the subject. Nice depth of field and blurred background. Sharp focus. Perfect exposure. Congratulations!

Thank you so much, glad you liked it:)

I love decayed objects and abandoned buildings. During a walk in Delfzijl I stumbled across this place.

No fences yet to keep out people yet....

Best regards,

Martin

I got my Q just over a week ago but I'm absolutely loving it and only regret not buying one sooner.

The image below is one that I took in Amsterdam and like, even though the focus was off slightly (I was trying to be discreet taking street photos for the first time and had it set to focus points, live and learn).

And a couple of hundred  meters later I saw this row of concrete blocks laying near the waterfront. I guess they have served their purpose.

Welcome. Per another forum member (Dancook) I recommenced you try face detection focusing mode. It will default to wide multiple focus points if no face is detected.
