A very nice series!

Thanks. The one in Siena was fully spontaneous and "reportage." Then, walking through Perugia, a woman came up to me and asked me to take a picture of her and her friends with her iphone. I did, while "secretly" shooting simultaneously with my Q, realizing that now I had a matching set!

Dear old Clifton Suspension Bridge! I used to live not to far away, beautiful shot!

Thank you for your kind words! The Clifton Bridge has always been an inspirational subject for photos. Did you line in Clifton Village? I live too not more than 5 minutes walk from the Bridge, just by the park. Waiting for the Balloon Festival in a few months for some nice shots ;)

Letter to Atticus attachicon.gifAtticus-32.jpg Leica Q

That would be near the very end of Cicero's life, a month after Caesar's assassination and just a year before his own slaughter at the hands of Antony's henchmen. A fitting dead rose to place on that letter. Soon afterwards Cicero wrote De officiis (On Duties), which turned out to be perhaps the most influential secular book ever written in the West, as it provided the template for the republicanism of Machiavelli, Montesquieu, and John Adams, among others. So, despite Antony's intention to erase Cicero from history (Antony's wife is said to have put a silver needle through the tongue of his impaled head because Cicero's silver tongued orations (his Philippics) had attacked Antony so viciously), Cicero triumphed.

Bravo!

40 years! Thats such a long time!  I walk through Alma Road to get my groceries from Sainsbury's! The Alma tavern is still active and kicking! I think the theatre in there is still operational. In the future I may take more shots so you can remember your old neighbourhood!

Cars and Coffee Sunday, first effort with Leica Q. Been away from photography for a while (things changed just a bit) love the Q, study and practice required.
