Wind turbines for generating electricity are very common in parts of the U.S. These were in eastern Colorado as part of a recent road trip. I used a 6-stop ND filter to try and slow down the shutter speed to capture the blades showing motion. Converted to B&W in LR and tones adjusted to my liking.

 

Good capture on the wind turbine movement.  The car is nice as well :-)

I like these shots a lot but I wonder if the ND filter has introduced a blue cast and robbed the foliage of the lovely fresh green. Certainly with the Lee ND filters I find I need to change the white balance to 10000 kelvin to remove the blue cast.
