Hotel Siglufjordur in North Iceland.

It's really interesting to look at your series of pictures over the weeks and Sunil's pictures.  The same camera in the hands of two obviously very good photographers but if I look at each set and close my eyes to think about them each set has such distinct colour characteristics, each distinct and beautiful in its own way.

Thank you for your kind words Vikas. The RAW files from the Q are like clay in your hands that you can mold in a way that you feel that you are mediating the scene and atmosphere that you experienced. All the images here on this thread clearly show how each and everyone can express him/herself in all kind of amazing ways. For me, I absolutely love how the Q is like an seamless extension of my arm.

Dear Vikas...

Appreciate your kind words...Credit goes to Q…I don’t know what it is but some kind of magic which makes you carry it all along where ever you go and gorgeous RAW files…even “OOC”  JEPGs are fine and very detailed.

Have a nice weekend.

Warm regards.

The underside of "Cloud Gate" in Chicago. I call it the "Bean". Pretty weird, but fun.

My Audi A6 TDI, 20" wheel wrapped in Pirelli rubber.  Almost as fun as this Q.

I have an Audi TDI Sportline too... but my wheels are trashed from parking up against curbs... :(

Yours look immaculate!

I played with a work colleagues' 'Q' yesterday and brought in my M-P and some lenses for him to play with...

I REALLY like the Q. Had I not already bought my M-P I would have bought a Q when it came out. It's virtually the perfect camera for my sort of photography... in many ways I prefer it to the M.

I love the fast AF, was really impressed with the viewfinder - its so clear and all the information you need to see is in there, clear and perfectly presented. In manual it simply works and everything I know and understand about photography is there, in one simple, small package. It is virtually the perfect camera. Even the size and the weight and the look are close to perfection.

I am not wedded to the rangefinder. I would love an M version with that viewfinder and a couple of fast, small autofocus lenses - and if the Q or the M ever goes in that direction, I WILL change.

Cool photo, too :)
