Testing the SF40 flash with the Q. I've never really used a flash with my Leica kit but this is opening up a whole new world.

 

Works brilliantly with a little bounce flash.

Works brilliantly with a little bounce flash.

you couldnt even tell lighting was used. its subtly excellent!

I'm seeing a lot of false contouring in the sky, is this due the the compression used here or on the original file? 

Alarmingly ive seeing a little through the EVF on occasion but not as yet on the computer.

Thank you! I haven't used it commercially yet, but I plan to. It would be a great camera for wide shots or even table overhead.

Thanks! I'm really enjoying this thing so far, and following along with what everyone else is shooting. I haven't shot much in years not because of technical limits but just because I didn't sufficiently enjoy using the cameras I had. The Q is pretty delightful (in my case, especially so with the thumbs up and grip I picked up yesterday).
