Just a little experiment in stretching the M10's tonal range to the max in direct sun with heavy shadows. 35 f/2 ASPH, ISO 200, highlight and shadow sliders pushed to the max. Just a scattering of black pixels in the dark gaps between the window blinds at right, where overlaid by the tree shadow, and a few white pixels in the highlight on the streetlamp globe. Everything else is shades of gray.

Not necessarily pretty as such - just seeing how much scope there is to match the "open, bright-yet-detailed-everywhere" 1960's film images of, say Tony Ray-Jones: http://shooterfiles.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/possibly-worthing-by-tony-ray-jones-web.jpg

Of which I would say there is plenty...with room left over to add back some contrast, or go even brighter.

That image doesn't fit in any of the threads.....however, the Visoflex 020 is absolutely phantastic.....OK, not a piece of outstanding design...but for shooting macro for example it is really great....not to mention the Summilux 28...so sharp...I'm really happy.

Elmar-M 50mm and M10, the building name Kohinoor at Lez river bank

With M10, I like the subtil color hues (as here the "greens" in so many palettes to yellow), the sky was grey

I guess for close up work the Visoflex can be very useful...if not a must!

Leica M10, DR Summicron-50 , ISO 100. And here’s the B&W version. I’m posting both, as many people want to see the M10 B&W conversions as well.
