Hello

I'm not really an airplane window shooter, never seemed to bother but flying in to Amsterdam yesterday evening and the light was so good I had to gave it a whirl.

Shooting into sunlight streaming through clouds, through a dirty window is always going to result in some fairly bad results technically, but even though these are a little on the hot side,  I can overlook the blown areas and still really like them.

Your M240 is a great camera but your claim is baseless. I’ve been using the M10M for 6 months without noticing any issues having to do with steadiness. The same with the M10R.

**Maybe point to an example or something rather than just lobbing smoke bombs.

regardless, this is of course is the M10 image thread, which is a 24 mpx camera.

When going for the BEST quality image the use of the Tripod is encouraged. Yes, I do have excellent images unsteadied but when I am doing landscapes at low ISO and want every bit of sharpness my Leica Summulix can give me at F/8 I will use a tripod. The results are superior to handholding. Try it and find out how much the sharpness improves. You will be pleasantly surprised.

I agree 100% with this line. However, that was not your original argument. Regardless, both the M240 and M10R are fabulous cameras.

Morning

At the risk of boring people, a last set of plane window shots, all in a single post rather than multiple. I was actually amazed at how good the detail is in these, might try more in the future.

Totally overloaded by the constant invasion of mass media. So, I shut it all down, walked to the end of the pier at sunset and took the 'cure'. A fine weekend to all.
