How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

The Weir in Bath UK..trying to find a picture OTHER than the ones everyone (including me) takes:

The other side of Pultney Bridge is always an interesting contrast as you can still see the weir. I still think the canal by Sham Castle Lane is also a good place to see Bath.

Beautiful here this morning, nice and dark and moody, lots of fog and a general feeling of Autumn in the air, my favourite time of year. The forest behind my house is too hectic for anything really nice so just a quick shot.

Hmm, that pic looks soft for some reason, here's another couple, see if these looks soft too.

For me it's not harmonious. The bokeh distracts too much from the subject. Or the colors are way too intense. I don't like it, sorry

Oh, I like @wolan picture a lot. I think that it shows wonderful colors. A branch in front of a magic background. The second picture shows some unreal world that exists indeed. I would not feel well at that spot.

If you like something like that, it's wonderful. For me that's too much LR.

180° panoramic view from our summer house in the middle of Norway. It is merged from 8 or 9 images (I don't remember exactly, because I deleted them afterwards and kept only the final panoramic image). The shots were taken at f/5.6, but I regret I didn't stop down a little more, to get rid of the last rest of vignetting.
