Afternoon.

After a couple of days with temps above freezing, we had a cold night at -18 last night. Went out early thinking it would be a good opportunity to see if icicles were forming on the rock of the small mountain opposite my house.

Stupid idea as I quickly found that the steep paths were like glass with the snow above having melted and turned to ice under the moss, fell over a lot! 

Anyway, nothing fancy, just a couple of quick shots. Nice to see some life returning to the forest floor..

A lot of ice, mainly under the surface.

When you say -18 was that C or F?

Please would everyone use standard definitions. Almost everywhere in the world uses the metric system however, the USA does not (except for its scientists) and UK uses an unbelievable mix.

Well, if you get down to minus 40 then it's the same temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius 🙂 needs to cool down a bit first!
