To repeat a post from last week, Glazers in Seattle still has black cameras in stock. Supplies must be near demand now for that to still be the case.

I emailed them about it. The one they had was sold and the web-team hasn't updated the site to account for it.

Well, I just called them and they still had it.  So, I snagged it.

Just called again to confirm my order after reading your post.  Shipping today.

Moral of the story:  Always call.

And thank you very much for the hot tip.

I first cancelled my order from B&H (BTW they were super good about it) then called Glazers.

He went in back and physically grabbed it just to make sure.

So yea, finally.  Now......the fun (I hope) begins.

Thanks again !!

Nice! I grabbed one the other day from them and was hoping to grab that one for a friend. Ah, to pick up the phone :-)

Firstly, many congratulations and enjoy. Two months to get from Wetzlar to Manchester seems a long time though.

Yeah, I wondered about that. When I got it home and opened the box (I did look at the camera in store) I found the Instruction Book was actually for a TL2. The camera performs perfectly and so I'm not concerned, but would be curious to know the reason for the delay. Maybe it had been a "rebuild" in which case it will have been gone through thoroughly, although I did have to clean a spot on the sensor which wouldn't come off with a "blow". Either way, I'm happy.

As long as you are happy, that's the main thing. Not sure I would be, especially sensor dust.

I just looked at my box which is dated 3 July and I had it in hand 21 July. And that's to Melbourne!

Just got off phone with B&H. The nice gentleman I talked to gave me the same date as their web site for availability, mid December 2017. He also added that they received 5 last week, so maybe there's a tiny bit of hope for something sooner than December. I won't hold my breath, but will wait a while longer.
