I like the lens very much. For the past 10 - 12 years, it's my most used non-Leica lens on M bodies. I believe its design was based on the W-Nikkor 35/1.8 ltm/S. Performance is more close to Summicron 35 iv (7-element) than the 8-element version. The MFD is between 0.8-0.9 mm that you might find a bit limiting. The workmanship of the lens is better than any of Leica Summicron 35s. There are few others also use this lens and hope they will also comment on their experience. Welcome, dear visitor! My 2 centavos JM Thanks for the images, very detailed visual effects, back ground blur is not as artistic as V1 8 ele, also not as contrast as 8 ele in colour. However, I found summicron V1 sometime can be a bit overwhelming. Konica Hexar 35/2 is very pleasing. I do feel in street photography, as Ocean2059 introduced, it has some similarities with summicron V4. Cheers!

ocean2059 Posted September 6, 2023 Share #11399 Posted September 6, 2023 There are four versions of Konica 35 lenses that I know of, two ltm versions, a Konica Hexanon (silver), and a Konica Hexanon UC (BP), a M version, Konica Hexanon-M, and converted version from Konica Hexar 35 AF camera. The two ltm versions have the same optical design but different coatings (UC for Ultra Coating). The converted lens from Hexar 35 AF is similar to both ltm versions, but latest Konica Hexanon-M version has a different optical formula. Welcome, dear visitor!
