A 1955 Summicron 5cm Collapsible with Acros 100. Testing my newly-acquired 1957 IIIg yesterday (a freezing cold, miserable day!).

Another from yesterday's roll of Acros 100 in my 1957 IIIg and 1955 5cm Summicron Collapsible. I am beginning to wonder why I bother with all this new-fangled digital stuff...

Is this the IIIg you were having serviced Keith? If so, there is no evidence of light leaking now.

Leica M9 with a collapsible 50mm Summicron (dated to 1955) 1/250th @ F4.0 with 500 ISO.

This is the old Massachusetts State House building dated to 1713. In 1976, Queen Elizabeth II toured the Old State House with her husband. She appeared on the balcony that is visible in this photo.

Nice one, Pete.

Quick question: which adapter do you use with this lens? I use an Amedeo one for Contax and have noticed substantial front focus (the lens used to by fine on film).

Thanks, Ecar. Yes it's an Amadeo adaptor but I haven't noticed front- or back-focus with it. In fact I've just started to notice more focussing problems with my LTM version of this lens.:(

More of that 85 Sonnar please Pete!

Here is a few with the lens, I bought with the intention of making it my favourite lens and daily shooter - it is holding up well to my plans so far ;-)

50 Summilux E46 black paint + Mono (why is it that nobody at Leica knew, that I would be here, bagging on my knees for a Mono with the paint finish of my M8.2 ?):
