mmradman Posted December 17, 2012 Share #602  Posted December 17, 2012 While I have similar curiosity, as the Original Poster of this thread, would you very kindly start a separate thread to discuss lens conversions so that this thread remains as a place to post images taken through these wonderful lenses please? Thank you in anticipation.  Pete.  Thread is open to receive your contributions  http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/leica-m-lenses/265496-show-us-your-conversion-adaptation.html

menos I M6 Posted December 18, 2012 Share #611  Posted December 18, 2012 Jean-Marc, so your new Summar is a keeper ;-) I see, you got a 50/1.5 Summarit as well - now THAT is a real monster of a lens - most unique bokeh among all Leitz lenses. One can really create some fantasy backgrounds with this one. Looking forward for more shots!  Here are some 50/1.5 Summarit shots, I am digging out:  portrait - mother and daughter by teknopunk.com, on Flickr  portrait - umbrella by teknopunk.com, on Flickr  hands and walking stick by teknopunk.com, on Flickr

menos I M6 Posted December 18, 2012 Share #616  Posted December 18, 2012 Great stuff Jean-Marc! I love the colours, you are doing …*and you know, how much I dig photographs of workshops - fantastic development of the "machine green" there ;-) The Summarit renders this scene just beautifully!  I know, it has been mentioned several times on this thread: Why buy modern lenses? I hope, this thread can show one or the other newcomer to photography, that it's not necessary, to shoot the latest and sharpest gear!  Here are a few from the W-Nikkor 3.5cm ƒ1.8 LTM, I am going to love very quickly:  look at me man by teknopunk.com, on Flickr  birdie by teknopunk.com, on Flickr  portrait - cluster bomb by teknopunk.com, on Flickr

menos I M6 Posted December 19, 2012 Share #620 Â Posted December 19, 2012 Jean-Marc, these beach shots are just so beautiful! Â The Komura is interesting - they made quite a few strange lenses, among the 2x RF coupled rangefinder also a RF coupled 200mm lens in LTM mount!
