Uncoated optics. The anti-reflection paint had come off of the middle triplet sometime over the last (almost) 80 years. I just refinished it. This made a tremendous difference in flare and contrast. All at F2, straight exports with no adjustments using LR6. Edited September 28, 2015 by fiftyonepointsix

farnz Posted October 28, 2015 Author Share #2539 Posted October 28, 2015 Congratulations, Jonathan, you've produced a lovely picture; I've pondered (drooled?) over this lens for a while now. Did you manage to find a LTM copy or, if not, may I enquire which adaptor you are using with it? Pete.
Guest JMF Posted October 28, 2015 Share #2540 Posted October 28, 2015 (edited) Congratulations, Jonathan, you've produced a lovely picture; I've pondered (drooled?) over this lens for a while now. Did you manage to find a LTM copy or, if not, may I enquire which adaptor you are using with it? Pete. Pete, the Nikon S mount version of the W-Nikkor 3.5 cm f/1.8 has a rear element which protrudes too much to fit a M camera body. There are a few converted samples (I have one converted by Miyazaki in Japan) and the more common lTM version .
