With my newly acquired M-P and an M42-to-LM adapter I was able to dust off and try the old lenses that I once used on my Pentax SV in the 60s and 70s.

Hope this isn't "blasphemy" :).

Not at all; it's precisely why I started the thread. You've kindly conformed to the forum's rule of camera or lens or both made by Leica and you've added pictures taken through an older lens so thank you very much.:)

OK... now I'm really starting to like my 135mm f/4 Leitz Wetzlar Elmar on my Monochrom. Some photographs from a recent trip to Europe.

Note that the submarine cropped to show at 100%. The final photograph (bridge pillars) is actually a "panorama" of 3 shots.

Edit: To stop driving anyone nuts - Malta and submarine going into Devonport

Hi All,

I have recently bought a 2.8cm Hektor so thought I would try it out on my M9. Here is a picture of our newly-dug garden pond!

It seems to be a much better lens than I thought it would be, given the generally poor comments one normally hears about it.

My daughter Robin Isabella with the Thambar f/2.2 on the Leica M 240

Tricky lens, but fun!
