WestMichigan Posted July 15, 2014 Share #2121 Posted July 15, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Bart D, I must say i much prefer the countryside image with the copse of very tall trees off to the right much more in the B&W version. The color version posted further up just didn't pop as well for me. Good work & that Hexanon being put to excellent use, sir. Kudos. Sincerely, Richard Konica 35mm f/2 UC Hexanon on M9-P, b&w's

The color version posted further up just didn't pop as well for me. Good work & that Hexanon being put to excellent use, sir. Kudos. Sincerely, Richard Thank you, Richard. I do put more effort in the processing of my b&w's. The colour versions, are pretty much "straight from the dng" with only some minimal tweaking. farnz Posted July 30, 2014 Author Share #2129 Posted July 30, 2014 Pete, the Hektor or the M? How do you like the Hektor? It's currently on top of my need list Oops, I see your confusion, Hari: the Hektor. I'm very much taken with the smooth out of focus areas, it seems to be low contrast but is sharp enough in the right places and there seems to be little vignetting. Not sure how flare prone it is yet. Pete.
