ok now I am really sorry about this if I am going over old ground but I have had my MM for a few weeks now and I love my 50 and 35 lux's(latest versions) but I would love to try some older glass in the other focal lengths but I am concerned about certain (back) focussing issues?. reading this thread there seems to be a wide range of lens to get but possibly the shorter list is what lens should I stay clear of?

thank you for counting to 10 and deep breaths before answering:)

"Awful Entertainment Icons"

ZM Biogon 21/f4,5 @f4,5. Monochrom, ISO 1600.

- The ZM Biogon 21/f4,5 is not vintage, but it's optical schema is. I felt it not inappropriate to publish the resulting pic here. But feel free to remove it if I've been wrong. ;):)

Would you very kindly start a new thread (perhaps in the M Lenses subforum?) and pose your question there please? There are many answers to your question and it's vital to keep this thread for posting photos taken with these beautiful lenses and clear of distracting discussions which can go on endlessly. By all means refer back to this thread but please have the discussion there.:)

Thank you,

Pete.

Amazing Jeff. Ugh. This lens is a very expensive obsession I could do without!

Get yourself a Summitar or a Summar 50/2. They can do as the poor man's Dallmeyer :D

+ 1 re. JeffoJeffo's pictures. Really beautiful!

Cheers,

Bruno
