Theres a beautiful LHSA Hammertone set currently in the "buy and sell" section, and I must say its one of the most beautiful cameras I've ever seen!

p.s, this thread has become dissapointingly slow lately, so come back, guys!

Let's continue the MP story.......

For a period of 14 days I am the most happpiest owner of a MP which I bought second hand in mint condition. I know the summarits are not very popular but for me the small and compact 35mm is perfect.

best regards

Marc

Those little 35mm Summarits are incredible.

I totally agree, the camera with this tiny 35mm Summarit is so small you can really put it in your jacket without any problems. And for my photography 2,5 is enough.

best regards,

Marc

Marc, I love that camera and your shot is really good,

but, not that book with this camera,

it's a kind of blasphemous.

Thank you very much and sorry Martin "to violate your eyes" ;) but the the MP brochure with Michel Compte did not give such a good contrast on the photo like the silver M-brochure.

best regards

Marc

My MP w/Nocti. I have never used my Nocti on film before. It's loaded but lately I have no time to get out and shoot :(

Just pushed the boat out and imported two film re-wind levers from Tony Rose, popflash.foto, via ebay.

He very kindly combined the two levers into a single slowest method shipping for $15. Arrived today and now fitted on my two MPs as shown here:

Just a point in fitting, I found it easier to fit the plugs from the underside. Looks much better to 'sloping shoulder rewind'. :D

The book arrived this morning. So pleased to have this again after my previous copy was taken.

Uaqpau: Nicely done. Especially the right hand one!

Thanks honcho. That photo was the trickiest.. I took it with my M9P and 50lux, at 8sec, f11, iso200, and "painted" the light with a small flashlight. This technique is quite fun! :)

BTW.. that lens is a canon LTM 28mm f/2.8, from 1957. I just received it yesterday and it's a perfect match for the MP! ..and so tiny! I'm gonna try it today. Have to get used to the 28mm focal length too, as I have only used a 50mm in the last 7 months (since I started with leica).

Regards
