First test roll of 400Tx has been shot and processed. I'm not saying it's absolutely perfect Zone exposure with N+ or - development, but the negatives are nice and dense (and consistent) across lots of different shooting conditions. The ease of shooting in a casual social environment it is so so so nice.

I didn't try to get sneaky with anything. I set the ISO dial to 400 and let 'er rip. I didn't try to coax the meter. I composed the pic and did whatever the meter said. I processed the film exactly as prescribed (D-76 1+1 for 9.75 min). The negatives look good. They're drying right now. I'll cut them tomorrow and probably print a few of them in the darkroom next week.

I love my MP.

Particularly for a trip to a big city like LA I think the Silbersalz35 should be a great choice. Got some very distinct captures taken on the 500T (no filter) on a recent trip myself.

BTW: Seems a nice strap as well. Would you mind sharing what brand it is and how your user experience is so far.

Have you posted your shots anywhere? I’d love to see them. I’m particularly excited to see how my 500t shots came out as well. I think it’s one of the prettiest film stocks out there.

And thanks! It’s a Harry Benz B strap. Now that it’s broken in it’s lovely. Feels very high quality and it’s comfortable too. Goes nicely with the MP and lens as well

Thank‘s a lot for the information on the strap! Now very high on my priority list…

Indeed I postet a few in the „I like film…(open thread)“ here. But unfortunately most of the links to the OneDrive storage are broken. The last one I posted on page 4110 (#82184) doesn‘t show the characteristics of the film stock that well. Maybe I‘ll post another one tomorrow with a more typical rendering.

Thanks again and best regards Hermann

In case anyone here is interested this comes from a discussion on the ‘I love my M3’ thread. I just uploaded a comparison video between the MP and M3 Single Stroke Transitional Model shutter sound. It’s quite different, and the M3 Double Stroke & Transitional Model are buttery smooth. That being said, nothing wrong with the other M models, just a bit noisier that’s all :)
