Then again, the ergonomics of a 'phone are probably better for videography. The rangefinder form was not designed for shooting video whereas 'phones have fully embraced it apparently :D .

the ergonomics of my iPhone 7+ (with 2 lenses)  is the best for all  photo and video

Not sure about that. I hate taking pictures with a phone. All that tapping and moving the camera around during exposure. Finger position is hardly natural for taking pictures, IMO.

Then there is the IQ. Sometimes I will take a picture, like it, but then look at it on screen....blergh. Just disappointing really.

I have to admit: I was wrong. The M10 indeed does feature the SL's sensor.

It is a classical M rangefinder, really beautiful. While it is slimmer, the lens mount has to compensate for it.

Basically Leicarumors got it right.

It is going to be anounced this week.

In spring, there will be another Leica EVF full frame camera announced with a L mount.

Actually this makes huge sense.  If Leica is able to provide its user base with these two M mount cameras, we're all winners.  The SL then becomes a vehicle for stabilised, AF lenses (along with video), with the M10 and Q-L (or whatever) becoming its primary platforms for manual focus lenses. I'd be in the market for both...  The big challenge then is do I end up wanting three bodies (two M10s + the Q-L)?  Ouch...

Just as the SL, it will allow the use of M lenses with the TL Adapter.

I do not know more details. I think it is a smaller variant of the SL.

if there is a need for TL adapter why a second body ? the SL is a very good camera  but not for me

there is a real need for 2 M lines , the M10 and another one more modern
