Just had to take a photo of the phenomenon. M262/35 Summilux Welcome, dear visitor! david strachan Posted November 3, 2016 Share #2  Posted November 3, 2016 Oooh it's a lovely scene Dee. The wattles still flowering and such a peaceful place. Again you make me want to be there. I suppose a pond of water doesn't mean much to the internationals...but we appreciate any water we can get.  all best...
platypus Posted November 3, 2016 Author Share #3 Â Posted November 3, 2016 Dave, thanks. As an Aussie you would appreciate this scene, our country is not green and tranquil all that often. I hope your SA weather has been pleasanter than ours this spring! Â The golden bushes are actually broom, it's a native and has flowers a bit like a pea. Isolated sections of natural bushland along rivers (such as this) are the only places on the Monaro that I've seen it grow. Strangely sheep and cattle don't seem interested in eating it. Regards.....
