Wira bruk was founded around 1630 by Clas Fleming.On the basis on a monopoly granted by a royal privilege it manufactured most of the rapiers and swords for the Swedish army into the mid 19th Century. Leica M 240 Summaron 28 mm.

Very interested in this Lens for my M8. Anybody having more Colour Pictures to share here? Doesn't matter if not used with the M8.

 

I have a year’s worth of colour photos taken with this lens in my Flickr stream but mostly film. There are a few taken in the last month or so that are colour digital.

Some more colour. A carpet of Dog's Mercury. M 240 (which I have a great deal of trouble obtaining colour that I like but that's another story).

Of all Leica's newish, new or new-old M lenses, this is the one that makes most sense to me. 

 

I've tried one with my M10 and it's delightful so I'm buying one.

Meanwhile, in Worcester, play is delayed due to a slightly damp pitch. There were swans on it at some point I wonder what Mr Blofeld would make of that!
