Does a UV or skylight 1A filter affect the charming character of this reissue lens. The vignette or color, etc., is it changed even slightly? I have decided to get the heliopause skylight 1A. I know many here do no go with a filter, but I always like to protect the glass, and, the hard , black, plastic bellows on the front seem to be able to be scratched pretty easily. Then that fits a pinch cap + And also a 37mm UV nano filter from B+W. I thought it was needed as I can’t clean the front of the lens. However maybe it does indeed change the colours slightly?
