MarkP Posted October 6, 2016 Share #6 Posted October 6, 2016 #2 is by far my favourite. Are you happy with the CV15?
war Posted October 6, 2016 Share #7 Posted October 6, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) These are outstanding architectural images. Yet another Sydney landmark. This must have just been completed, haven't seen it published in any of the journals yet. Thanks for posting.
Hardster Posted October 7, 2016 Author Share #8 Posted October 7, 2016 #2 is by far my favourite. Are you happy with the CV15? I am. Version 2 is very small and easily fits in any nook of a camera bag (similar in size to a 35mm summaron). It's also quite inexpensive. There is really no excuse for leaving it at home. However, as has been documented here and on other forums, it suffers from magenta fringing on some cameras as well as edge smudging but because I predominantly shoot in B+W the former is of no concern and the latter only matters when printing large (> A1). I believe version 3 is better corrected for digital but is larger and has a different filter size in an odd diameter which was a deal breaker for me. This must have just been completed, haven't seen it published in any of the journals yet. Thanks for posting. Thank you war. The ICCSydney is scheduled to open in December. There are still a lot of barriers about and no access to the inside of the building/s. It's also very large with an exhibition hall and theatre that together extend some distance back from Darling Harbour. There's an open day on the 22nd October. http://www.iccsydney.com.au/
